Frequently asked

VoxFit isn't reading my weight from my smart scale

Smart scales (Renpho, Withings, Eufy, Garmin Index, Fitbit Aria, etc.) write to Apple Health directly. VoxFit reads from there. To verify the chain:

  1. Open the iOS Health app → Browse → Body Measurements → Weight. Confirm recent entries from your scale appear there.
  2. Open VoxFit → Settings → Health Data. Make sure Body Mass is granted.
  3. If both look correct but VoxFit still doesn't show recent weight, force-quit and reopen the app. Background syncs can take 1–10 minutes.

My TDEE chip says "Refines after 2 weeks of data"

By design. The personalized maintenance-calorie target requires at least 14 days of consistent Apple Health data — body weight, energy burned, and your VoxFit meal logs — to calibrate accurately. Until then, VoxFit uses a formula-based estimate from your profile (age, sex, height, weight). The chip will update automatically the first Sunday after your 14-day mark.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → VoxFit, then tap Cancel. Apple — not VoxFit — handles all billing, so cancellation must be done through iOS Settings. You retain access through the end of your current billing period.

I switched phones and lost my subscription

Open VoxFit → Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed into the same Apple ID that purchased the subscription, your access will restore within a few seconds.

How do I delete my account and all my data?

Open VoxFit → Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm. This permanently removes every row associated with your account from our backend, including health aggregates and weekly coaching results. Deletion is final and cannot be undone. Your Apple Health data on your phone is not affected — that remains in Apple's Health app.

The Apple Watch app won't open or shows old data

This is almost always a sync issue. Try:

  1. Make sure both devices are within Bluetooth range of each other.
  2. On your iPhone, open the Watch app → My Watch → VoxFit. Confirm the app is installed.
  3. Force-quit and reopen VoxFit on your iPhone, then re-open the Watch app.
  4. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the Watch app from the Watch app on iPhone.

My voice was misheard or the workout was parsed wrong

VoxFit transcribes speech using Apple's Speech framework, then sends the text to a language model for structured parsing. Background noise, accents, and ambiguous phrasing can affect accuracy. You can edit any parsed log before saving — tap the field you want to change. We continue to improve parsing accuracy over time.

I changed my fitness goal — when will my calorie target update?

Immediately. Switching between Cut, Maintain, Bulk, or Custom updates the recommended calorie target on the Dashboard within seconds. You don't have to wait for the next weekly recalibration.

Privacy concerns — what does VoxFit send to its servers?

The short version: no raw Apple Health samples, no voice audio. Only daily/weekly aggregate numbers and your parsed workout/meal logs. The full privacy policy has the complete breakdown.
